I want my own business

Does this sound familiar?

"They send me to a Maßnahme, but I want to start something of my own."

A Maßnahme is not the only option. The AVGS also covers founding a business.

"I am afraid of losing my benefits if I register a Gewerbe."

There is a lawful order of steps in which payments continue.

"I am drowning in forms."

We go through every form in your language and fill it in together.

Myth and reality

Myth

The AVGS is only for job search

Reality

§ 45 SGB III explicitly covers support on the way into self-employment.

Myth

Register the Gewerbe first, ask for help later

Reality

The opposite: voucher and preparation first — otherwise money and deadlines are lost.

Myth

Without German at C1 you get nothing

Reality

Coaching is delivered in your language; we prepare the documents together.

Myth

It's a favour handed to insiders

Reality

It is not a favour — it is your legal entitlement. A rejection must be justified in writing.

Who pays and why

01

The voucher

The provider

MORLANG is a certified provider and accepts that voucher.

03

The money

The authority pays the provider directly. You pay nothing and repay nothing.

Frequently asked questions

Is this really free for me?+

Yes. With an issued AVGS the authority pays the provider directly. Your share is €0.

I receive Bürgergeld, not ALG I. Do I qualify?+

Yes, the Jobcenter also issues AVGS, and Einstiegsgeld may be available on top.

I am not in Frankfurt — is that a problem?+

No. Coaching runs online across Germany; applications go through your local office.

What if the Jobcenter says no?+

A rejection must be justified. We review the reason and reapply where appropriate.
